Present your request to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Phillippians 4: 6-7)
Who do you turn to when you are struggling with a problem? Your family? Friends? Or even a co-worker? When you do so, do you often find the perfect solution that brings you peace or do you still find questions or worries in your mind about whose advice to take?
To be completely honest, I have often taken each of these routes – depending upon the issue at hand. Fortunately, as time has gone on I have often learned that I over complicate each situation by doing just this.
Recently, God reminded me of this while listening to a Joyce Meyer CD on letting go of Worry (https://store.joycemeyer.org/p-54-the-cause-cure-for-worry.aspx) . While listening to Him remind me of how much he Cares for Me & You, I realized once again that HE loves us all enough to “cast all of our cares”!
As it says in Phillippians 4:6-7, “Do not be anxious about anything , but in everything, by prayer and petition, with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God.”
So, the next time you have any issue or problem that is delving up worry and anxiety, remember to turn the one who LOVES YOU MOST. He is always listening and caring!!
