The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy and loving-kindness. (Psalm 103:8)
If you read last week’s blog post, you know that our Loving Father loves us enough for us to cast each of our worries/cares on him. I guess that he had more to say on this subject because he gave me the perfect example at the end of last week that I thought might give readers a clearer picture of just how much he cares for each of us.
I am the mom of two beagle puppies, who makes her primary income from freelance writing. I knew that I had a bill or two as well as some household shopping to do last weekend and had budgeted for such, including a check that I had received from an outlet that I write for. I had intended to take this check to the bank and pay a vet bill that I had. When I got to the bank last Friday I realized that I had left this check at home. When I went home to find it, I certainly did, but it was shredded into many little pieces all over the living room floor courtesy of my fur children.
Although the solution to this is simple, I had a couple of difficult trial days prior to this and I have to admit that I melted into the floor wondering how I was going to rebudget all the items that I needed to pay for?
Fortunately, my father heard the prayers that I said while on the floor and both kept my finances stable and assured that I received a replacement check within a few days. I also had some other family-related concerns come up over the last couple of weeks and he is continuing to resolve these. He sure loves us, doesn’t he?
THANK YOU FATHER!!!!
