I am a few days late in writing this, but I am blessed to wish each of you a very Happy New Year!
While some may be excited about all of the possibilities that a new year holds, there are still those who are trapped by Satan’s lies. Those lies that tell us that we are not who God says we are…”Thou art my beloved sons and daughters; in thee I am well pleased” (Luke 3:22).
I have even questioned this as I work to accomplish what God has sent me here to do – share the good word. This negativity and questioning in my life has led me down some wrong paths, but I feel blessed that God has been with me on each of these ventures to teach me and guide me into fulfilling his plan for my life and I know that he can and will do the same for you.
So, let’s go into this year leaving the old us behind and take hold of HIS new creation (2 Corinthians 6:17). Remember that he loves us despite our past mistakes and HE “knows the thoughts that he thinks toward us, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end” (Jeremiah 29:11).
