Happy International Women’s Day! How many of you women out there are feeling valued in this world? I know that I can’t see you all but I am guessing that not many of you are raising your hands. The truth is, while women are continuing to gain headway in this “man made” world, this gender continues to be seen as second class. Despite the world seeing women as less than men, this is quite the opposite in God’s kingdom.
Taking one look at some of the stories throughout the Bible, it is obvious that God often uses women to fulfill his purpose. Along with the story that Lisa, from Better Together, shares with us from the Old Testament, God has continued to show that we are all a valuable part of his plan.
From Mary, the Mother of Jesus, all the way to the Woman at the Well and even in today’s times with more and more women becoming leaders in the world of ministry, God is continuing to prove that we are valued in his kingdom. So, go out there today and celebrate this day with your head held high knowing that you are valued and loved by the creator of this universe and by His Son who took on the cross to give you an eternal life worth living.
And if you are one of those women out there who is wondering what Her Purpose is in His Kingdom, just sit down with God and ask him to give you His Wisdom today. He is always willing to liberally share this with you!
