He hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love (Ephesians 1:4)
After having the wonderful opportunity to go and see a movie with my family this week I was really blessed to once again hear from God when he absolutely spoke to my heart. While I thought that He was sending me to see this movie to be inspired to get back to a book that I am working on, He used this film to remind me of “Who I Am in Christ”.
Have you ever asked yourself the very important question – Who Am I?
Like one of the main characters in this movie, I often answer this question with the type of work that I do or the fact that I am a wife and fur momma. The truth is, while these material things might be part of our lives, it is not who God says we are and who He promises that we are through our Faith in Christ and his paying the price for us.
So, in thinking along these lines, I am asking you again Who Are You?
To answer this question, go to Ephesians Chapter 1 and take a look at what He says about you.
- You Are Blessed
- You Are Chosen
- You Are Holy
- You Are Without Blame
- You Are Before Him In Love
- You Are Predestined Unto the Adoption of Children by Jesus Christ
- You Are Accepted in the Beloved
- You Are Forgiven
- You Are Sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise
- You Are His Workmanship Created in Christ Jesus
- You Are a New Creation Who is Free from the Law of Commandments
- You Are a Citizen of the Household of God
- You Are Saved
Remember this no matter what each day holds and no matter who everyone else tries to tell you that you are.
I really loved it so good.
