Provider of Loving Guidance & Deliverance

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under HIS WINGS shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and armor. (Psalm 91: 3-4)

Along with knowing that God loves us no matter who we are, isn’t it also wonderful to know that he also loves us enough to deliver us from dangerous or harmful situations. What exactly do I mean? Can you remember a time when you were in a job, relationship, or even in a dangerous situation where you felt like things were completely out of control or even falling apart?

While this is a pretty frightening situation, I am so blessed to have recently had the opportunity to take a step back and see first hand how and why he steps in to deliver us when things are at their worst.

Although I didn’t know it at the time, I was in a job a little over a year ago that started out pretty good, but this pretty good feeling quickly faded to one of misery and self doubt on a regular basis. Rather than keeping me in a miserable situation, God asked me to leap into an adventure that he was holding for me. I should say that I immediately leaped into the miracle that he was holding for me, but I let fear lead me until I was more than nudged but more like pushed. Despite being confused and hurt for a short period of time, once I made the decision to keep moving forward doors continued to open up for me.

Today, I enjoy what I am doing and despite not making a fortune as a writer, I am much happier. The best part of this is, despite my questioning myself recently, I was once again assured during a lunch meeting yesterday that HIS GUIDANCE was the correct way to go.

Need another example? My husband was recently in a pretty frightening accident and although he received an injury that needed surgery, this head on collision could have led to much worse. As he continues to heal from this injury, I see first hand Jesus’s powerful healing power over him and God’s love surrounding him during this entire process. He was delivered from death or serious injury and is continuing to be healed and delivered from the rest before my very eyes!

So, if you are in a desperate situation right now remember:

He hath set his love upon you and me, and will therefore deliver us “I will set him on high because he hath known my name.” (Psalm 91:14)
