When you think of a “flash flood warning” do you get excited? I know that these three words have never meant good news to me in the past. That is until now. It’s a New Year and while some may be thinking about their resolutions to get in shape, eat healthier, or try new adventures I am excited about the flood that our Heavenly Father is bringing to His children this year.
No, I am not talking about a return to the flood of the earth days of Noah and the Ark, but a flood of His favor. This is all He has been reminding me of this week. The first instance was during my family’s weekly Bible study last Sunday, where we watched a powerful sermon entitled “A Flood is Coming” from Joel Olsteen that actually brought tears to my eyes.
This sermon once again reminded me how much HE LOVES US and is more than willing to make all things turn out for good if we just believe. The second instance was just yesterday when I was directed to the above scripture…

I don’t believe that this reminder was just for me. Instead, He is asking that I share this message with all of you – His Children. So, get ready because God is ready to bring a flood of favor into your life in 2018!
