O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. (Psalm 136:1)
Many, like myself, have continued to hang onto our past mistakes/regrets like a badge of honor. In fact, I have often used these as stepping stones to try and improve myself so that I am not only good enough for others, but good enough for God.
Lately, HE has been reminding me that he has forgiven me of my past and that in order to move forward into the future that he has planned for me I need let go and realize that the love of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has nailed these sins to the cross.
After a rather challenging week last week, I took to my knees and prayed that HE would once again rain down his Unconditional Love on me. He quickly responded by both reminding me that he will always love me, but also sending me directly to scriptures within the bible to remind me of this.
While I found the first reminder that “His Mercy Endures FOREVER” in Jeremiah, I also found this in Psalms (above), Ephesians and several other times within the Bible. I quickly found out that this phrase appears an estimated 35 times within the Good Book. I guess this is his way of continuing to remind us that he will always love us, all we need to is commit to the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and remember that HE raised his son from the dead to wash away our sins.
Be at Peace Today and remember that HE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!
