For I am persuaded that not even death or life, angels or rulers, things present or things to come, hostile powers, height or depth or any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8: 38-39)
It is that time of the year again – Valentines Day. While there are those of us who enjoy this “so called” holiday, I have never been a fan. Why you ask? I guess the best answer that I can give is that I have never wanted to pressure my spouse into spending his hard earned money on flowers that will wilt and die just to show me that he loves me when he can show me in little ways everyday. I also find it ridiculous for “man” to determine that we should show love on one day of the year when God says that we should show love to our fellow man everyday.
Fortunately, if we follow God’s plans for our lives we can not only find love from one another, but can also realize the ultimate love that he has for us. Despite the pretty trying trial that I have been facing lately, which has had me questioning HIS plan for my life, I still know with all my heart that God loves me.

So, this Valentines Day I will try to remember HIS Unconditional Love despite the receiving any man made items like cards, candy or flowers. I also feel honored to share this love with each and every one of you. Let’s share this love this holiday season and remember to be kind to one another.
