Fear no more, Daughter Zion. Look, your King is coming. (John 12:15)
Something that I can pretty much look forward to each week is enjoying bible study with my family. Although I love each message that God has to share with us, this week’s message was especially empowering. In fact, it couldn’t have come at a better time.
For those who have been keeping up with my previous posts, you know that I have been looking for full-time work since the end of 2016. While this hasn’t happened yet, God has been sending me some serious signs that he is in the works of making a dream job that I have been hoping for over the last several years become possible.
Along with these signs, our message this Sunday involved standing on the rock of Mt. Zion. I have to admit that I have been on the shakier side of my faith lately, which has made these days of waiting a bit difficult. Fortunately, I have learned that God is just providing pressure in order to make a diamond from the ashes that parts of my life were.
Now, I am dedicated to standing on the firm rock of Mt. Zion vs. that of Mt. Sinai. Do you want to learn the difference? Open up your bible and find out more about what God thinks about you and remember that a broken life can always be made stable and strong thanks to the love and blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
