Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen. For our ancestors won God’s approval by it. (Hebrew 11:1)
I have been sick lately, which has made me a little more vulnerable to the devil’s wiles and lies.
Despite this, I haven’t let go of the feeling that God is making a miraculous life possible for myself and for the ones that I love.
It is really hard to keep the faith in the things that are not seen, especially when you have pressure setting in to do things like “pay the bills”. Fortunately, God finds ways to remind me of his miracles every time that doubt starts to set in.
If you need examples, remember the story of the walls of Jericho falling after being encircled by the Israelites for seven days. (Joshua 6) or Sarah conceiving way past the age of conception (Genesis 21).
So, instead of listening to a world that is telling us that there is no hope for a miracle, let’s live for a world of “God Things” and remember that he is still a God who cares and is still able to perform miracles through our determined faith.
