As we all celebrate a very joyous time of the year, it is important to remember that it doesn’t matter that your husband gave you that new pair of earrings that you have been eyeing or that your kids now have the latest and greatest game system. We have all been given the greatest gift possible with the birth and resurrection of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
As the New Year approaches, no matter what either my or your circumstances may look like right now, this is the one gift that we can all rest assured and have faith in. So, take this AMAZING gift into your heart now and…lay aside every weight and sin that has so easily ensnared each of us and let us run with endurance the race that lies before us as we keep our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our FAITH, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12: 1-2).
So, remember to continue to share the Love that we have all been given and look forward to the promises that God holds for us in 2017.
